Creativity Abounds in PR and Marketing online…

I was minding my own business today, when I got an email from Lani Anglin-Rosales (of AgentGenius fame). She simply pointed me to a reporter who was looking for some parents of kids with Autism. Since she knew I was writing a book on the subject, she wanted to let me know that a reporter needed some input.

How did she acquire this info about a reporter on Autism when her specialty is REAL ESTATE, you ask? Here’s how: She sent me to Seth Godin’s piece on his blog. He sent me HERE.

Honestly, I think this is one of the more ingenious ways to use the web to connect people that I have seen lately. I like it. And since you are likely to ask. HECK YES. I did sign up and I will have my clients who are authorities in MANY different subjects contact reporters and authors who need some help.

Another great find that this led me to was Peter Shankman’s blog and better yet, this post. Brilliantly written in my book.

Simply said…Thanks Lani. Good find.

    @Peter- It was well deserved. One of the things on my “to do” list is to jump out of a perfectly good airplane despite my fear. (grin)

    Best;

    Eric, haven’t gone a day without talking about your class at the REW Summit. Never a way to thank you enough. So I decided this would probably be the kind of “bar I’d like to hang out at”! No doubt about it.
    Inspiring stuff in here. Peter…what can say? Triplife is one primo niche social networking sites. Any idea when he created it?
    Thanks again, Eric, and I look forward to “running into you” soon.

    Best,
    Kevin
